Thanks Mom!

During the application process for my visa in SVG I ran into a strange (but necessary) request. Immigration requested a copy of my criminal record from the United States.

Obviously this brings up a problem since I wasn’t in the States, and could not pick that up myself. So I did the next best thing.

I asked my mom for help!

My father was in Africa teaching a class at the time (he’s the one 8,000 miles away).

Within an hour

  1. My mom had gotten the record
  2. Taken it to Fedex
  3. And had it shipped to me
  4. I had the document in my hands two days later!

It’s a blessing to know that though I’m able to deal with most challenges of life, there are loved ones who are always willing to step in and help when neecessary.
