Teach While You Can

The picture in this post was taken January 17, 2020 at the close of a class at the local Bible College. The picture is precious to me because It’s one of the few with all the students together.

It also reminds me opportunities can be lost quickly…

Less than two-months after that picture was taken the covid pandemic would begin. Two students to the right of me in this picture (I don’t include them because it’s best not to share pictures of people online) would understandably have to leave. One was from America, so he immediately went back. The other returned home and got involved in ministry there.

Looking at this picture fills my heart with some regret because in that moment I felt like there was lots of time to minister to them. If I knew then what would happen in March 2020, I’d have used my time more wisely.

Sadly we don’t know what the Lord will do tomorrow….

so we must make full use of today.
