This morning, I was sore from yesterday’s jog and workout.
But I went out, and jogged again yesterday
Because when you show up…. you win!
We often think of “winning” as everything going perfectly and being on the mountaintop. Sometimes that is winning. But usually, it is doing the right thing, even when you don’t feel like it.
In other words, consistency is winning.
This truth can easily be applied to the Christian life since we are often tempted to look for “mountaintop experiences.” But on this earth, much of our time will instead be spent in the valley.
And that’s okay.
Because the valley makes you stronger.
The power of God is not seen in the inconsistent testimony that is constantly starting and stopping. It is seen in the testimony that shows up and obeys no matter what.
