Fruit Will Come

Fruit Will Come

In late April I shared a brief update about my teaching ministry going through a hard time since lots of kids were busy with other things.

I described it as a “season of famine” since ministry has seasons of plenty, and seasons without fruit.

The important thing is being faithful in both seasons.

A few weeks ago things started growing again as young people became interested in my ministry. Slowly those who had been too busy (or uninterested) returned, and we added new people!

Monday I gathered a group of kids for a Bible lesson, then left to go call a young lady who lived nearby (and attends my classes). To my surprise, six kids went to call her with me!

As they excitedly talked among themselves while walking down to the Bible class, I silently thanked the Lord that he helped me endure the season of famine.

And for reminding me fruit will come.
